I have 30 years’ experience in government and nonprofits, as well as companies, in the areas of public policy, strategic planning, project management, sustainable development, corporate social responsibility, advocacy campaigns and large ecosystems conservation and protected areas creation, with a strong backing in evidence and analytical aptitude for informed and viable decision-making. I have demonstrated leadership, management and supervision of multi-disciplinary staff and large budgets, to ensure organizational focus, clarity of purpose and program accountability.I have outstanding meta-analysis capacity to understand the interactions between the technical and the political, social and cultural variables, among the different stakeholders involved. This has allowed me to read the attitudes of investors, analysts, regulators, legislators, media, NGOs and civil society, anticipate possible scenarios, and recommending different effective action strategies, to produce real and perceptible change for organizations and communities.I have always promoted a collaborative dialogue among colleagues, across organizations and stakeholders at all level of government, policymakers, corporate executives and NGOs, building strong and honest working relationships, in the search for lasting agreements, trusted partnerships and positive outcomes. This has allowed me to develop and cultivate an extensive network of high-level contacts in Chile and abroad, both within the public and private sector. A milestone in my career and historic achievement was leading the team that proposed in 2017 the Route of Parks of Patagonia, a public-private agreement with Michelle Bachelet´s government that resulted in the creation of 5 new national parks, expanding other 3, encompassing 10 million acres of protected areas. I have lead Corporate Social Responsibility teams using a bottom-up strategy to change cultural, safety and environmental practices. I have experience in fundraising of national and international funds and promoting philanthropy in Chile.I have effective communication skills. Always informed, and on top of current political, legislative and environmental issues and trends, reflecting on them and building opinion.I believe in the power of positive ideas and compelling stories, and their ability to inspire and mobilize people and organizations towards the changes that are necessary.
