Heroly was inspired to transition from his role at Transport for NSW (TfNSW) to founding Busable due to a desire to improve regional bus services. While at TfNSW, he worked as technical lead on real-time software systems for both metropolitan and regional bus transport. He quickly identified that regional bus operators lacked the software to plan services, schedule driver rosters and monitor their operations in real-time. Delivered the following projects:• SmartSign e-Signature enablement for commercial lendingKey Duties and Responsibilities:• Working closely with Product Owners to prioritise product features to ensure that the highest business benefits are realised after each sprint and release cycle.• Working closely with the Agile scrum team and overseeing solution designs to ensure solutions meet business requirements with minimal defects or impacts to business processes.• Engaging change managers to ensure that risks and impacts are minimised to the commercial lending business segments.• Providing requirements and reviewing solution designs with data integration teams between the Bank's proprietary commercial lending platform, integration services and DocuSign.Achievements:• Solution released with no high severity production defects.• High user satisfaction for SmartSign solution. During my time as a senior technical business analyst, my team and I successfully delivered the following projects:• Core banking modernisation of the Bank's PeopleSoft organisation information • Core banking modernisation of retail and commercial lending systemsKey Duties and Responsibilities:• Involvement in all stages of the project lifecycle from date of business case presentation through to implementation and support.• Developing strong relationships with key figures across the organisation both business and technically focused, and managing stakeholder expectations.• Managing initial project item scope before commencement of system development, and ensuring that minimal change requests to scope were raised.• Providing key input into the SDLC Design Community by evaluating effectiveness of SDLC tools, processes and methodologies and making recommendations for continuous improvement. Achievements:• My project team was awarded by the Program Directors’ for successfully implementing a key component of the Bank’s PeopleSoft organisation information in the new SAP core banking systems within project budget, time frames and with zero defects on “Go Live”.• Assisting the business with a saving of $1.5m by calling out early in the project planning phase scope items with high development costs that did not support the business case.

During my time as a technical business analyst, my team and I successfully delivered the following projects:• Same-day retail lending top-up fulfilmentKey Duties and Responsibilities:• Primary business analyst working on the solution design for the in-house CRM and workflow processes for the Bank’s new Home Loan Top Up system. This project was implemented over 3 major release cycles, totaling 1 year.• Co-coordinating and presenting in large workshops of 20 plus key figures across the organisation both business and technically focused.• Documenting clear and concise detailed functional and business process flow diagrams into Functional Specification Documents for business stakeholder approval.Achievements:• Reducing the customer’s home loan top up loan funding turnaround time to 1-2 days (from 1-2 weeks) on average based on the new Home Loan Top Up system and workflow improvement processes.• Awarded by the Program Director for exemplary efforts into delivering the new workflow process within delivery time frames.
