Hardware design from scratch of the main ECU of all vehicles models of Silence. Working with Altium tool to design schematic and layout and BOM generation. The focal point of the design has been protection against overvoltage spikes and overcurrents from external environment to avoid internal components damage and allow product durability. In charge of validation requirements with laboratory intrumentation with meters and oscilloscope tests.Software embedded design from scratch and continuous improvement of the main ECU of all vehicles models of Silence with one binary for all. Thanks to internal MCU flash parameters is allowed the vehicle customization as customer features wishes. Working with a MCU of NXP Cortex M4 architecture in a MCUxPresso IDE (Eclipse based) written in C language running in FreeRTOS. Managment of all GPIOs, CANbus comunication and I2C libraries. In charge of the validation requirements with a selfmade LabVIEW (National Instruments) interface to simulate external nodes of the vehicle, as the BMS, Motor Controller Unit and Telematic Control Unit.For the versions control of the project, SourceTree (Altassian) has been used as GIT client.

Software design of the main ECU (ETAS ES910.3) architecture of the single-seater electric vehicle of the Formula Student team e-Tech Racing of the EEBE University (UPC). Simulink (Mathworks) has been used to design the code and INTERCRIO tool provided from ETAS company to interface with the CANbus data base of the vehicle. Thanks to this software, the final project of bachelor's degree "Design of a yaw rate control for a Formula Student electric car" could be brought to reality.
