In 2012, he joined the staff of Acumen Brands in Fayetteville, AR, leading the Design and E-Commerce Marketing team. After 2 years, He was promoted to Sr Designer of Country Outfitter where he served as Campaign Designer, UX Lead, and Art Director, working on initiatives with Disney, Pepsi, Sony Records, Under Armor, and Carhartt.In 2015 he left Acumen to start at Scout Retail as Brand Architect. While working for Scout, he launched Fawbot Design Collective, Bolt Action Apparel, and Hustle Co, designing, consulting, and speaking. In August of 2015, Daniel relocated to the Portland, Oregon. Since moving to the Pacific Northwest, he has worked as a Brand Designer II for Nike, as Sr. Digital Designer and Sr. UX Designer for Keen Footwear. In 2019, Daniel accepted teaching positions at both George Fox University and Linfield University. He spent two years developing Design Thinking materials and courses in the University Art & Communication Departments. In addition to teaching university courses, Daniel has held roles as Communication Director, Design Director, and Creative Director for a successful nonprofit organization and material science company.
