Hershey is a food industry Renaissance man. After graduating from Ateneo de Manila with a degree in Management Engineering, Hershey took up Culinary Arts and Kitchen Management at the International School for Culinary Arts and Hotel Management (ISCAHM). Unlike others who take up culinary studies as a career, Hershey studied how to cook for the sheer love of food. Hershey has even cooked dinner for President Noynoy Aquino, while on internship at Aubergine restaurant in Fort Bonifacio. A natural businessman, Hershey has started many business ventures including an online flowershop, Japanese frozen food manufacturing, and a meat processing factory. The most successful of which is Consistent Frozen Solutions Corporation, a supply chain and distribution company he co-founded that helps restaurants, commissaries and other food establishments make sure their inventory stock levels are at an optimal level. Among his many initiatives in Consistent was the development of an integrated computerized inventory system that helps keep inventory numbers accurate, updated and audited. He also spearheaded the company's focus on revennue management, which is centered on category management, sales, business development, with a special emphasis on mentoring and coachingIn his free time, Hershey loves to cook, loves to eat, loves to sell and loves to write about food
