Conduct following job desk:- providing advice on making a claim and the processes involved;- processing new insurance claims notifications to insurer and co-insurers;- collecting accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim;- analyzing a claim made by a policy holders;- guiding policyholders on how to proceed with the claim;- contacting involved parties i.e marine surveyor / average adjuster / others required expert from a network of approved professionals and arranging for them to attend on the casualty;- monitoring the progress of a claim;- identifying reasons why the claim submitted is adjusted;- ensuring fair and reasonable settlement of a valid claim;- building relationships with average adjusters, marine / cargo surveyor, forensic and solicitors, as well as other legal/claims professionals;- ensuring the customer is treated fairly and that the customer receives excellent service in accordance with industry and company guidelines;- handling any complaints associated with a claim;- involvement in average adjusting activities and in legal discussions relating to settlement;- providing claim statistic for the client reference and provide advice to the client in conjunction with the statistic reading to minimize the risk reoccurring;- adhering to legal requirements, industry regulations and customer quality standards set by the company.
