In addition to fulfilling my duties as a Project Manager, I was primarily responsible for the PMO's overall management of systems and direct reports that were responsible for securely processing 5.5 million transactions annually totaling $2.8 billion locally, and 320 million transactions annually totaling $21 billion nationally with a PCI DSS Level I compliance. I led, supervised, mentored, and guided as appropriate to ensure direct reports met their job responsibilities while driving professional development of overall staff through both direct coaching and empowerment of team members. I championed and drove team maturity at the local, State-Enterprise, level while working within the framework of the strategic Corporate marketing and business plan. This role saw me ensuring that Agile (Scrum and Kanban) frameworks were implemented effectively by facilitating continuous improvement through collaboration, user-story creation and refinement, estimation, prioritization, planning, impediment removal, reviews, retrospectives, and tracking team velocity and sprint/release progress. I also reported directly to the General Manager and Director of Operations to assist with special projects related to strategic business operations, most notably serving as the NIC project lead for the State's Department of Public Safety (DPS/DMV) successful REAL ID implementation.

Primarily responsible for serving as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Agile Coach for the organization's agile scrum teams, and managing both small and large digital government projects from initiation through to completion. This role saw me serving as the "face of the organization" for assigned projects and services while interfacing with external clients/partners daily and conducting face-to-face and teleconference meetings with clients/partners was a must. I elicited functional requirements from clients/partners based on business needs and translated these functional requirements into user stories and technical specifications for the development team's execution. Furthermore, it was my responsibility to see these specifications through all phases of the SDLC and into a successful deployment. Daily communication of project goals, timelines, and status updates to cross-functional teams within the organization was a requirement. While being primarily responsible for transitioning the organization out of Waterfall and into Agile (Scrum and Kanban) based frameworks, I was also primarily responsible for the implementation and standardization of service/project documentation and organization practices for these Agile frameworks using Confluence® and Jira®.

Responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of fully accessible and responsive web applications using PHP 5, HTML/CSS, Smarty Templating Engine, JavaScript, and Oracle DBMS for the State of Oklahoma and its affiliate agencies. I conducted engineering research as a part of a group of undergraduate students. I assisted in the development of a prototype of an autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) with a water leak detection system.
