Running the Software organization (Codec Firmware, System Software, Applications) for Zenverge's transcoder products.

Managing Digital Keystone Europe's engineering development. Main achievements include HPNX-DVB, world's first DVB-CI/CI+ validation tool, and custom security solutions for European Pay-TV gateways.

- Integration of LSI CPG SW engineering into Magnum Semiconductor.- Responsible for consumer DVD Recorders & professional broadcast (HD / SD multiformat [H264/MPEG-2/VC-1] encoders and transcoders) codec SW development.

(LSI Logic changed its name to LSI Corporation in 2007).- Responsible for Codec (MP-2 / H264 / VC-1) Firmware development for DVD Recorder market and professional broadcast market, with teams in Canada and US.- Responsible for Turn Key SW design (in US) and transfer for implementation in Asia (India), designed to address customized needs of Tier-1 customers CE Manufacters as well as fast turn-around between multiple customers (i.e. optimizing balance between SW resource load and servicing multiple customers in parallele).- Served as main technical lead and system feature negotiation / definition with several Tier-1 CE manufacturers, with complete knowledge of the whole chain from product design to factory production.- Responsible for technical SW due-diligence during LSI's strategic decision of selling the Consumer Product Division, which concluded in a merge with Magnum Semiconductors.

- Responsibility of 3 separate functional teams: Middleware support (outsourcing), reference design (DVD Recorders) application development, low-level streaming support (DVD Playback:DVD-Video/VR/Audio).- Technical lead/coordination of software integration between TV Guide(3rd party) / LSI Logic and LSI customers for HDD Combo recorders.- Cross-functional teams coordination to deliver fully featured DVD-Recorder solution (Single chip AV codec, DoMiNo technology).- Coordinator for getting 1st DVD-Recorder customers going into production (LG Electronics, JVC).- Technical Lead of HD Decoding & ATSC format conversion, in use for D-VHS Digital Theater.

- Development & Bring-up of MPEG decoding (HD & SD formats) & Video PostProcessing on new processor (Team of 3 engineers, DoMiNo technology).- Participation in VLSI designs & decisions.

- Technical lead for DV to MPEG transcoding firmware.(DVx technology) In production in professional editing solutions (Pinnacle, Matrox…) and consumer DVD-Recorders (Pioneer, Toshiba) & D-VHS (JVC).- Low Delay codec firmware (420 & 422 chroma formats, elementary or transport stream). Single chip (DVx technology) full-duplex. In production in various professional equipments for Video Conferencing & Satellite News Gathering systems (Harmonic, Tandberg, Optibase)

- Technical lead for MPEG-2 Real Time encoder (CL4000 technology)- Firmware development for 1st single chip video encoder/decoder (MPEG-1). Solution used by Pinnacle/Dazzle for PC peripherals using Parallel Port.- Started Internship program, still in use now to get new college grads for a year.

- Firmware for Real-Time MPEG2 video encoder. Partnership with C-Cube Microsystems. System-level work at Matra location (France) and MPEG2 encoding work at C-Cube location in Milpitas (14 processors in parallel).- Firmware realization used by Direct TV (CLI) & Echostar (Divicom) deployments
