The Corporation’s lead Engineering & Technology executive, responsible for the Engineering& Technology systems, operations, resources and assets of the Corporation, ensuringtechnologies are used efficiently, safely and securely.Lead, manage and direct the Engineering & Technology teams to deliver a high standard ofpreventive and reactive maintenance service.Effectively the Corporation’s Chief Technology Officer, responsible for the ongoingtechnological modernisation of the Corporation.

•Day to day management of the inspectorate department, providing lead direction to Inspectors and junior staff, including scheduling, coordinating, assigning, reviewing and overseeing completion of work.•Inspecting commercial, industrial and residential electrical installations for compliance with the company’s standard mainly following the IET 17th Edition BS: 7671: 2008. Advising electricians, contractors and others regarding electrical regulations. •Undertake engineering duties as and when assigned in the distribution and transmission division plus standby duties for electricity services.•Performing bench testing and calibration of mechanical and electronic demand meters, using PC to program these for use. Program and install power monitoring recorders at customer premises. •Investigate electrical installation of which consumption patterns indicates fraudulent activities. •Fault finding the HV and LV distribution network during failures, including the Windfarm network.•Download and prepares charts and exception reports for discussion with the Section head to outline any issues and resolve them accordingly.

•Continue to carry out the core duties relating to a HF site. Familiarization with the new Riz digital type HF transmitters.•Administering the site’s IT network; consisted of more than 60 users. Knowledge of Windows Server 2012 and Microsoft Exchange 2013 configuration, administration and troubleshooting. •Maintained the overview of the sites’ Windfarm control system (SCADA, HMI, interfaces etc.), troubleshooting and providing local support to the manufacturer as and when needed. Attended an intermediate Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC training course which included ladder programming.•Writing technical reports and recommendations to improve equipment performance.•Providing technical advice to other team members to help improve/boost their technical knowledge.

Very familiar with several safety related documents and procedures.
