I am the Co-Founder and Director of Samuel Hall since 2009. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Philosophy. At Samuel Hall, I am the lead economist - focusing both on micro and macroeconomic research in contexts affected by migration and displacement across Africa and Asia. In this role, I am part of multiple research consortia to contribute to knowledge sharing, and I am a member of the ILO international advisory board on child labour and forced labour statistics and research. My research has a three-fold focus on education, social protection and skills/employment in urban and rural settings. Besides my work at Samuel Hall, I teach philosophy and economics to university students in France, and at the Alliance Française in Nairobi. I hold an MBA from Cornell University, three Masters degrees in Economics, Literature, and Philosophy from the Sorbonne, and graduated at the French Ecole Normale Supérieure.
