For more than 2 years, I managed security, safety and the environment (1200 people, includingcontractors) - 5 production sites for oil exploration and production. To succeed in our project, I managed12 direct collaborators in Port Gentil and 20 collaborators in other departments providing supervision and development of the HSSE team to ensure a high level of competence and performance and in collaboration with other departments to integrate HSSE aspects into all of the company's operations. It include:• Preparation and submission of several ESIAs to the authorities --> supervision of the environmental and social assessments for expansion and development projects to be submitted in accordance with regulatory requirements. • participation of the regular compilation and presentation of ESG reports to reflect the environmental, social and governance performance of the company.• Implementation of accident prevention and continuous improvement strategies to reduce the rateof recordable incidents and decided on a new security contract (5 assets + head office + villas for staffresidential). • Rationalization and reorganization of the HSSE documentation system to ensures easy access to find relevant information.👉Renewal of ISO 14001 and IFC certification without any major non-compliance.👉Maintaining a safe workplace with 15 million hours without workplace accidents by March 2023👉The frequency rate of recordable incidents decreasedfrom 3.52 in 2020 to 1.40 (February 2023).

For this mission with Norgold in 3 sites in total (Taparko, Lefa and Bissa), I was able to manage a team of 40 employees, including 10 contractors and consultants in average. Close collaboration with contractors and consultants ensured a unified approach to HSE ownership in the main departments, supported by the appointment of safety representatives in each department to ensure shared responsibility and rigor monitoring of the HSE action plan.Holding weekly and monthly meetings to discuss progress, challenges and opportunities for improvement as well as conducting behavioral safety audits and joint inspections to identify and mitigate risks, with measurable KPIs has contributed to the success of my mission.From an administrative point of view, I set up the EvRP and the risk register to identify and assess hazards associated to proposed preventive measures. A HSE training plan has been created to raise awareness among employees.I also ensured a simplification - standardization of the HSE management system according to the ISO / OHSAS standard in order to make it more accessible. An implementation of strict security protocols for contractors has helped to minimize the risks associated with their activities.👉Responsible management of budgetary resources allocated for HSE initiatives, ensuring effective use of the allowed budget👉Regular communication with authorities and regulators to ensure legal compliance and compliance with HSE standards.

This mission made possible, with the collaboration of a team of 5 people (2 doctors, 2 HS nurses, 1 supervisor), to ensure vector control (malaria, parasitic infections, snakes, etc.) to minimize risks, anddevelopment of protocols to prevent and manage incidents involving dangerous animals.Upstream of the construction site, a health and safety system (procedures, training materials, implementation and monitoring relevant indicators, etc.) has been put in place to ensure compliance with international and local standards. Implementation of ongoing training sessions to ensure understanding and application of the best HSE practices. Coaching of supervisors and fleet managers for a positive approach to the HSE and promote a proactive safety culture.In-depth assessment and redesign of the existing HSE management system to improve its efficiency and consistency.

Talking about this mission, I have contributed to the implementation of a HSE management system for a team of 72 people in compliance with legal, customers and BIA requirements.The development of the risk prevention plan with contractors and safety management plan in relation with the client's organization was done. We wrote and implemented several procedures, set up daily and monthly safety meetings. As another important topic, we optimized the PPE management (personal protective equipment): stocks, people and adaptation to tasks, improved chemical management and carried out risk analysis audits. Setting up KPI's, producing reports and monitoring for clients and general management was also done, as the creation and conduction of training (harness, lock-out / tag out, hand protection, etc.)
