Public speaking, classroom management, curriculum development, and projectmanagement were some of the skills picked up during my teaching years that helped shape my career in FAS, allowing me togrow under the guidance of Belgium Monsieur Michel Sablon, ex Technical Director, forwhom I worked closely with his Youth Development Plan for Singapore.I was in charge of the Junior Centre of Excellence (JCOE) program, managing the 8centers island wide which was the conveyor belt of talented youths aged 8 to 13 yearsold before it was shut down in 2017.I was promoted within my first year to Senior Executive and spearheaded the CoachEducation Department in the absence of a Head, managing to secure the CoachingConvention AFC ‘B’ for FAS through the extensive documentation and reviewprocess in 2018/19. I facilitated the AFC / FAS coaching courses and oversaw the U14 DevelopmentalLeague, PESTA SUKAN, Inter School Futsal Challenge U10 & U14, and EPSONYOUTH CUP as Competition OIC among other projects.Being appointed Team Manager of Home United FC, which then transitioned to Lion City Sailors FC allowed me to understand the dynamicsand management structure of a professional football club by providing clear leadershipand support to players and staff through professional working relationships, creatinga high-performing team in an elite sporting environment with strong communityvalues. Invaluable experience and friendships forged.In my capacity as Zone Manager in SFA, Unleash the Roar! (UTR!), I produced SOPs for new hires, claims, and conducted engagements with parents, school leaders, and keystakeholders both internally and externally as well. I planned andsuccessfully executed the official launch of SFA and produced the SFA corporate video with my fellow colleagues on July 2022 @ JVSS.Managed a few overseas training trips to Spain, Malaysia, Thailand and UK as manager and facilitated events such as SFA league and 7s.Taking on an additional portfolio in 2024, assisting with the SYL management and competitions & events, I hope to broaden my perspective of the local youth development scene and of course, to help make SYL be the Game Changer that Spore needs.Currently pursuing my Bachelor in Sports and PE as it has been put on hold for far too long so I believe now is the best time to do it ☺️☺️
