Hesam Lamei is President and Founder of Aventis Systems, Inc. Emigrating from Iran in the 1990’s, Lamei brought a passion for start-up ventures. He comes from a family of entrepreneurs which has steadily allowed him to acquire the experience necessary to run a successful company.In January of 2008, the weakening economy throughout the United States started to affect small and large businesses alike. Companies everywhere were forced to stretch their ever-tightening budgets, while still satisfying their requirements for IT maintenance and growth. Thus, when Aventis Systems opened its doors with a mission to fill the need for affordable server hardware equipment, it could not have been at a more opportune time.Growing Aventis Systems from scratch has been no easy feat. Not only did Lamei live frugally, but he also put his personal credit at risk and reinvested everything back into the company to avoid debt. Lamei insisted upon offering an industry-leading warranty, a risky financial decision, which ultimately paid off. Furthermore, he pushed the limits of his introverted personality by putting himself on the front lines in order to make sales calls. Despite all of these obstacles, Lamei’s vision has come to fruition as Aventis Systems has continuously prospered over the past 4 years.Today, Lamei is still as involved in Aventis Systems as he was the day the company commenced business. He prides himself in being very hands on, as he is constantly splitting time between the warehouse and sales office in order to ensure every aspect of the business is running smoothly. Lamei is a proud graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University with a degree in Computer Engineering.
