Recommends the department's budget and capital expenditures and manages expenses within approved budget constraints. • Work with the General Manager and Operations Team to ensure proper operations, maintenance, service, and repair of all equipment, while supporting the Hilton Hotels goals of guest satisfaction, cost control, and profitability. • Managing and overseeing the Preventative Maintenance Program, ensuring that all guest rooms and public space meet Hilton Hotel standards.• Maintains a comprehensive library of Manuals and Parts Lists for all operational equipment, as well as a complete set of up to date drawings for all areas and systems.• Respond to emergencies including Safety issues to ensure it is handled promptly and proactively. • Review contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with vendors, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.• Ensures fire, life and safety systems are operational.
