Main Responsibilities- Test all routine control plan inspection items and special request analyses using a variety of laboratory instruments. - Execute work instructions accurately and follow protocol.- Perform fundamental data analysis, interpret data, and report data/results as instructed. - Organize test results in the expected template and LIMS system, maintain control charts, and take corrective action when results are out of specification.- Developing processes, standards, procedures and documentation to support Supplier Quality Management.- Troubleshoot basic and advanced instrument problems, using suppliers' help or experts for more significant issues.- Method development and validation on the execution side.- Execute method improvement plans; write and update standard operating procedures as needed.- Mentor and train colleagues on practical analysis methods, such as sample preparation and running instruments, according to work instructions and risk assessments.- As the instrument owner, perform regular (daily, weekly, monthly) preventive maintenance on instruments, including ensuring consumables, chemicals, and other tools are required for the instrument to be in stock and ordered on time.Instrument ownership for: DSC, TGA, Rheometer and Moisture Analyzer.
