About Hesham Daud

I was basically born into the industry and have invested over 20 years in developing my skills in the food and hospitality industry. I am passionate about food and its dynamics to create new, healthy and exciting food at work and at home. I started in the industry as a Baker back in Australia and developed my skills as a pastry chef. I excel in attention to detail and perfection. I have now been in London for 15 years and have developed culinary and management skills in restaurants. I feel that I have energy and confident to manage large numbers of people in a extremely stressful environments as well as close knit teams in smaller kitchens. I believe team work is very important and an essential in any kitchen. I am calm, innovative and resourceful. I oversee all aspects of BOH, including development, training, payroll and food costs. I am involved in cooking classes in my current position and enjoy the participation to be able to teach people to cook and share my experiences to excite people to be passionate about food. I am currently studying Nutrition to expand my understanding of food which is being used to prevent, treat and repair the human body and on the path to broaden my knowledge to a different aspect of where food can take me.
