During my time as a Graduate Mining Engineer at Golder Associates I was involved in a broad range of projects due to the company's multidisciplinary nature. My primary position was in the 'Coal Australia' division of the company and included a two month secondment to the St.Louis based office.• Conceptual to bankable level feasibility studies• Site visits to a number of mines in the Hunter Valley to conduct technical and due diligence reviews • Geological modelling validation• OC and UG mine design/scheduling using mine specific software packages including Vulcan, Minescape, Minex, ArcGIS etc.• LOM Financial technical modelling including DCF analysis• Coal quality/washability analysisNon-mining related experience includes:• ESA programmes• Civil Engineering design work including ground engineering for the Pacific Hwy upgrade in NSW
