EL protects 3+ billion users from online abuse. Our IP intelligence is useful for reputation services, anti-fraud, anti-abuse, anti-spam, threat detection, information security, and network security. Career path...I was fortunate to be in the right place (flexible) at the right time (when the Web hit) early in my career. I founded hesketh.com, one of world's first web development firms. My goal with hesketh.com was to fund our own product development. We succeeded! Now hesketh.com makes Enemieslist; and behind the scenes, EL helps keep you safe on the Internet.My roles have evolved over the years – from markup monkey to information architect to lead strategist to business development. But, my true vocation remains the same. At heart I'm an engineer, a problem solver. What changes isn’t my profession, but the problem set :) Heroes...I admire anyone who follows their heart and does what they feel is right. My dad and Grandma Jane are two that immediately spring to mind. I stand on the shoulders of giants.Something few know about me...I have a passion for food, especially cooking with others. I love the camaraderie of the kitchen. They say too many cooks spoil the stew, but I’ve been in the kitchen with ten people making some of the best gumbo you’ve ever eaten and THAT'S bliss.
