I am a year 4 Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Financial Technology student who aspire to be a FinTech researcher and FinTech professional, taking leading roles in the FinTech field.I major in Financial Technology, and double minor in Computer Science and Mathematics, paving for my future pursuit in deep technology research in the realm of FinTech.My primary research interest is Lattice-based Cryptography.My areas of interests include Quantum & Post-Quantum Cryptography (including cryptographic protocols, such as zero-knowledge proof) and Machine Learning & Deep Learning, as well as their financial applications such as Blockchain & Trusted Technologies, and Algorithmic Trading.In July 2020, I founded an official FinTech student body in HKU, HKU FinTech Student Association (FTSA), with my classmates from the inaugural cohort of BASc(FinTech). The association aims at connecting FinTech talents and providing enrichment opportunities to them. I am currently working as the President of the Association.In September 2020, I co-founded the Global FinTech Network (GFTN) with FinTech enthusiasts from well-known universities across continents. I was working as the Honorary Secretary on the Board of Directors of the Network until January 2021.Meanwhile, I was also a student teaching assistant of ENGG1330 (Python Programming) from September to November 2020 at HKU, hosting ENGG1330 tutorials.From June to August 2021, I was a full-time student research assistant of Dr. Allen M.H. Au at HKU for the research project ‘Practical Post-Quantum Zero-Knowledge Proofs’.
