HFE Analytics is product development and automation consulting firm. Projects have included market research, prototyping, analysis, testing, and automation system development. Past projects have spanned industries including Industrial IoT, medical devices, tools, and sporting goods. Several projects have included market research and customer interviews to develop product roadmaps and financial models.

Led planning and execution of cross-functional projects to install and upgrade equipment in a fast paced manufacturing facility. Communicated and coordinated activities with internal customers to ensure needs were met and projects were accomplished on schedule.

Led the design, development, manufacturing, and launch of three novel physical therapy devices. Participated in customer research interviews and focus groups to hear the voice of the customer first hand and inform the product roadmap and engineering requirements. Worked closely with the executive, clinical, regulatory, and software development team members to ensure successful product launches, while managing the work of a cross-functional engineering and manufacturing team. Our team successfully used several different additive manufacturing (3D printing) methods to prototype and produce our products quickly and with minimal tooling costs.

Oversaw operations of CoWorking space and developed programs to support student and alumni entrepreneurs.

Led engineering research and development activities for TAO Life Sciences, where we commercialized high-impact technologies in the Life Sciences industry. Projects covered all aspects of product development, including design, prototyping, testing, and design for manufacturing.

Created analytical models to represent the relationship between tire diameter and rolling resistance. Developed software tools to help designers predict changes in performances due to tire size changes.

Developed finite element models to analyze novel tire tread features. Performed evaluation of ABAQUS and CATIA simulation capabilities for use in tire tread analysis.

Reverse engineered competitor tires and compiled information in technical reports. Designed and prepared technical drawings for test equipment and tools.
