As Director of the Sumba Hospitality Foundation, I am committed to driving a just and sustainable transition in tourism and hospitality. My focus is on creating initiatives that foster responsible tourism, emphasizing environmental sustainability and community empowerment in Sumba. By leading the Foundation’s operations, I ensure that we integrate practices that protect the local ecosystem, support the community, and promote cultural preservation through sustainable growth.Currently pursuing a PhD at ENSAM (École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers) on garment durability, my research intersects fashion, sustainability, and circular economy principles. I hold an MSc in International Fashion and Luxury Management from the Institut Français de la Mode, where I also earned the IFM x Kering Sustainability Certificate. Additionally, I have a professional Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Technology.My career spans roles in sustainability and product development within the fashion industry. I have experience working with Acne Studios and Kering, and in October 2022, I co-authored a scientific article with IFM and Kering on the various dimensions of durability in the luxury fashion sector.Through Hé the Studio, I provide consulting services and conduct research focused on achieving an equitable and circular transition within and beyond the fashion industry.
