I graduated as a Bachelor of Culture and Arts from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in June and now I am looking for a new job in the media field.Over the past year, I have had the opportunity to learn about communication through two internships. During the communications internship at Pro Lapinlahti mielenterveysseura last spring, I did a really wide variety of communication tasks. For example, I got to design and produce publications for the website and social media, compile newsletters, and proofread texts. As a Flow Festival's press intern this summer, I focused on designing and writing newsletters, press releases, and website texts, and during the festival I was in charge of the press area.During the summer of 2021 I worked as a journalist for the newspaper Itä-Savo. I wrote news stories on a variety of subjects, as well as extensive reports on different phenomena and events. I also shot some of the pictures and came up with ideas for stories.I am interested in many things, but popular culture and equality are particularly close to my heart. Writing is my strength, and I am really interested in social media and videography. I like planning and I'm good at scheduling.
