From the age of ten I said I want to be a Math teacher. Here I am, thirteen years into the profession and learning while I'm teaching. I strongly believe in the objectives of IB education and have taught across the Primary, Middle and Senior school (PYP, MYP, IGCSE and DP). I pride myself in my creative lesson planning, differentiation and classroom management. Being organised and striving for perfection, riding on strong communication, has helped me become IGCSE Coordinator and subsequently the Head of the Middle School. Both of these leadership roles have enhanced my situational awareness and crises management approach. The former role helped me understand the nuances of IGCSE and I am a certified Cambridge examiner. As Head of School, I led a dynamic team in implementing MYP and eventually attaining IB authorisation. It has been enriching thus far and with in depth knowledge, I am currently working as a consultant, extensively using my skills of communication, critical thinking and collaboration.I spend a fair amount of time on reading, traveling, sudoku and crosswords!
