As the In-house Corporate Legal counsel and sr. executive of company/ies, I oversee all legal matters related to the business operations, contracts, compliance, data privacy and intellectual properties of company. I have more than 20+ years of experience in this role, and I have successfully handled multiple litigations, trademark disputes, negotiations. I have also provided legal counseling and guidance to the senior management and the board of directors on various strategic and regulatory issues. Prior to joining Wagh Bakri Tea Group, I was an in-house corporate legal counsel at Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited, where I gained valuable experience in the pharmaceutical industry, especially in the areas of drug and cosmetic, NPPA-DPCO, trademark, patent law, estate laws, stamp duty while mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. Earlier, I have earned very good exposure while professional association had with Banking industries, like ICICI Bank, Adarsh Group, Mahindra Finance and resolved many tricky and legal issues of FI with various lower as well appellate court of jurisdiction.At present, I am pursuing an executive program in business and corporate law at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, one of the most prestigious and renowned business schools in the country. This program has enhanced my knowledge and skills in the fields of advancement in law, management, and finance, and has helped me to become a more effective and versatile legal professional.
