Hetu is an award-winning Senior Creative Writer with experience in Art Direction. He is Argentinian-Italian (EU citizen) and currently based in London, where he holds Settled Status.Since 2022, he has been working at AMV BBDO on a wide range of global brands.Together with his creative partner, he conceived 'Charge Around The Globe' for Ford—a world-record-breaking idea that made influencer Lexie Alford the first person to circumnavigate the globe in an electric vehicle. The journey was later captured and turned into an Amazon Prime docuseries.In 2017, Hetu joined McCann London, where he worked on brands like Microsoft, Xbox and Alzheimer’s Society. He was part of the team behind the multi-awarded Xbox campaign 'The Birth of Gaming Tourism'. He also created 'My Carer' for the Alzheimer's Society, an Alexa skill designed to help people with early-stage dementia stay independent. In 2014, Hetu traveled 10,000 km from Argentina to join LOLA MullenLowe Madrid. There, he worked on Magnum’s brand shifting awarded campaign, 'Proudly Seeking Pleasure', and memorable campaigns for Libero Football Magazine, including 'Touch Your Footballs'.During his time in Argentina, Hetu worked at renowned independent agencies like DON (AdAge’s 2015 Small Agency of the Year) and El Cielo, reporting directly to Carlos Baccetti, one of Argentina’s most renowned creative legends.In 2013, Hetu won the Young Lions Argentina Film competition, earning the opportunity to represent his country at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.Over his career, Hetu has worked with major brands, including Microsoft, Xbox, Ford, Meta, Mastercard, Nesquik, Magnum (Unilever), SEAT, PepsiCo, L’Oréal, Cartoon Network, City of Buenos Aires, Cablevisión and Fibertel.His work has garnered more than 100 industry awards, including honours from Cannes, D&AD, The One Show, Andys, Clio, LIA, ACDE, Eurobest, Webby, Epica, British Creative Circle, Ojo de Iberoamérica, Sol, Wave, CdeC, FIAP, EFFIE, Argentine Ad Pencil; including 2 Grand Prix.In his spare time, Hetu is also a drummer; his band Cuerpo released an EP, available on Spotify. Additionally, he is a keen painter, with exhibitions and sales of his artwork in the UK, USA, Spain, and Argentina.
