My work philosophy is to articulate poetic vision with down-to-earth sensibility and environmental stewardship to achieve beauty, excitement, and simplicity in our built environment.I like to dream big, get things done, and know how to have fun!Being an active partner in an award-winning institutional design firm for the first phase of my career, I became proficient in a plethora of high-level skills and capabilities, including public speaking and presentations, conceptual project planning and budgeting, handling client and consultant contact, organizing and leading teams of project staff, as well as evaluating team members’ performance, and taking responsibility for mentoring less experienced personnel.Additional attributes I express include excellent interpersonal, organizational, technical, and communication skills. I have a sincere passion and talent for architectural design, and the role it plays in reducing mankind’s impact on the Earth, and the ability to identify and integrate sustainable design precepts into project design.I believe that great sustainable design should be a part of all that we do. Guided by common sense and new technologies, meaningful architecture is possible and essential, without sacrificing excellence. My goal is to continue these rewarding experiences in collaboration with talented individuals and clients, in challenging and fulfilling endeavors, so that I can continue to learn, grow and develop as an architect exploring the full potential of strategies that lead to a sustainable future as well as being environmentally responsible.
