I travelled independently around the world for 12 months. I spent 6 months in South America, during this time I volunteered for 3 weeks with disadvantaged children at an arts haven in Cusco, Peru. I was responsible for running textile workshops; teaching children valuable craft and social skills. I also travelled and worked through Australasia and South East Asia before returning to the UK.
