I manage the I.T. Solutions environment at Glacier Financial Solutions, part of the Sanlam group. My experience spans Architecture, Systems Development, Analysis, Testing, and Production Support. I enjoy stepping into solution design, project scoping, and planning, working with teams to ensure successful project implementation. As a certified Scrum Master, I aim to balance Agile development processes with structured SDLC management.From 2015 to 2017, I managed a 24-member agile project team, served as the Agile Product Owner, and oversaw budget and scope. This project successfully delivered a world-class investment portal. Currently, I lead the Development and QA teams and am involved in strategic project discovery and establishment, as well as vendor and financial management for the broader I.T. department.Recently, I was appointed regional chairman of the Winelands Mensa chapter, a non-profit high IQ organization, where I actively contribute to the community. Seeing the bigger picture and ensuring the team can deliver the vision motivates me.
