I am a problem solver, ready to tackle any issue large or small. I enjoy learning about new technologies and tools—the more ways I know to tackle a problem the better. I aim to be a generalist/full stack dev. Currently focused on devops work (AWS, kubernetes, microservices). In the past I was a successful Android developer and before that a web developer working on both frontends and backends.

    Environment Provisioning Team- Team dedicated to building tools to allow developers to spin up ephemeral staging environments to test/showcase changes- Built golang operator to deploy our monolith app and required dependencies (and soon other microservices). Uses helm library internally.- Integrated status updates for environments from the operator back to github pull requests via comments- Led effort to switch from jsonnet/openshift templates to helm across Upstart engineering as best practice to simplify deploying new services to environments- Add e2e tests of the operator in CI using kind and kuttlCloud Platform Team- Created many new ROSA clusters, mix of CDK and argocd/helm/kustomize for cluster IaC.- Created second cluster dedicated to CICD workloads, load tested to find limits and built load-balancing toolkit so we can run CICD workloads across a fleet of CICD clusters (clusters as cattle).- Led many successful application migrations from legacy openshift 3.11 to ROSA 4.9.- Led implementation of new RBAC system integrated with OKTA to manage access to all our clusters for internal SWEs, coordinating across multiple teams (infosec, IT, DevX, SWE teams). Included several upstream changes to open-source projects to make this function for us.- Worked closely with model engineering team to add observability for their production workloads and built load-testing tools to help them right-size their workloads leading to large cost savings.- Created jenkins shared library reusable pipeline for all our base and utility docker images
