My experience includes lecturing at Addis Ababa University, researching at OpenMod4Africa, and developing software for management4health, Germany.As a lecturer, I have taught a variety of electrical engineering courses, including Power System Analysis and Introduction to Computing using C++. I am dedicated to nurturing the next generation of engineers and providing them with the tools they need to succeed.As a researcher at OpenMod4Africa, I am participating in the development of the OM4A Toolbox, an open-source energy system modeling toolbox tailored for African needs. I am using advanced modeling tools such as GENeSYS-MOD and OSeMOSYS to create a powerful and user-friendly tool that will help researchers and policymakers address energy challenges in Africa.As a software developer, I have worked on a variety of projects, including the digitization of Ethiopia's national health insurance system. I am skilled in a variety of programming languages and frameworks, including Python, React, Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, and Metabase. I have also delivered training sessions on these technologies across five Ethiopian cities.
