I provided clear vision and leadership to a set of disparate organizations navigating both a merger of business units and a business strategy pivot. I crafted and drove the product strategy and organization strategy to transition from a systems integrator in the traditional HPC market to a broader solutions partner encompassing the emerging AI systems market. • As part of this transition, we introduced Penguin’s first AI-focused product offering and campaign, OriginAI. • I drove the Edge market expansion effort to pivot towards the Edge AI market. • I focused the product portfolio by culling poor-performing products and products that did not fit the go-forward strategy I had instituted. • I served as the Executive Sponsor for multiple key customer and partner relationships. • I redefined the function of Product Management within the company to be a cross-functional leadership org defining the product portfolio, roadmap and go-forward strategy.

I led the team responsible for planning the compute and storage hardware for the Azure cloud data centers. In my time at Azure, I've led the product definition efforts for the hardware for ChatGPT, Bing, Gaming, HPC, and other Azure Cloud services. I've defined and established the Product Management discipline within Azure Hardware. I have revamped the product development processes to institute customer-focused product definition. I have built teams and developed leaders. I am currently focused on defining the future of AI Hardware and Infrastructure.

(HPE acquired Cray in January 2020). Product Line Owner for Compute products at Cray. My time was spent in development and coaching of Product Managers, working through product strategy and roadmap decisions with the CEO and his staff, leading cross-functional Product Teams made up of department leaders across the company, developing market expertise through staying close with customers and industry analysts, and working with architects and engineers to define future projects. At the time of my departure, I had lead the product management of over one-third of the world's top supercomputers and AI systems (including the system used to create ChatGPT).
