Project was shelved right as we finished it due to an acquisition.• Designed and implemented a rewards program API that used an immutable ledger system to accurately track reward points earned by repeat customers. The API used a combination of webhooks and event queues to integrate with CAKE’s POS systems and earn/redeem phases of online ordering. Project was shelved before completion due to an acquisition.• Rewrote the existing online ordering experience using React, Redux, and Styled Components to create a newly-designed experience that can be dynamically themed to match merchants’ existing brands.
