Jared King is an entrepreneur driven by a very clear purpose: to use entrepreneurship to help disadvantaged groups thrive.Make no mistake, he is a capitalist, but with compassion. He has the brain of a businessman and the heart of a development worker. He focuses on starting businesses that are profitable, but also make a positive social impact. His intention is to be a force for good in the world.In 2010, at the age of 26, Jared moved to Hong Kong from Canada with no money and no contacts. Within the first 2 years he built a profitable, $US million dollar business, E3 Reloaded.In 2018, Jared started his second company, Good Financial, an ethical FinTech lender for migrant domestic workers. Good Financial's mission is to save migrant workers HK$100 million by reducing interest rates. So far, Good Financial has thousands of registered customers and is rapidly growing.Outside of work, Jared created the ’Alphabet Marathon Challenge’, a personal quest to run 26 marathons in 26 different cities around the globe - one marathon for every letter of the alphabet. He has completed marathons in cities such as Kigali, Osaka, and Zhengzhou. Once, after completing a marathon in Beirut, a bystander commented, “You did the full 42km? Wow, that’s amazing!
