Sash and Frame is a partnership whose members are experts in and advocates for European style fenestration. We draw on our combined experience designing, manufacturing, implementing, and installing windows and doors to bring the highest level of expertise and service to our clients. We work mainly alongside manufacturers, builders, and homeowners on projects all over the country - we do not limit ourselves to the Northeast. We have experience in quality control of product/glazing/finishes/materials, testing/certification of hurricane impact-rated product, production manufacturing of wood, clad, steel, and frameless European fenestration systems, and are always looking to expand our knowledge. As a partner I lead our estimating and sales efforts from our Troy, NY office and showroom.

Sales at Case Window and Door involved confidently communicating the material considerations and production process across an array of systems for high-end, high-performance fenestration. Typically the sales process was a 6+ months working alongside builders, architects and owners to create some of the most prestigious, resort-like homes in existence. Our projects were all over the US and Caribbean presenting climate extremes for both the product and logistics. While projects were in North America, a majority of the insulated glass units, hardware, timber, aluminum cladding, and profile systems (steel, bronze, composite) were imported from European suppliers. During my time at Case I have had the pleasure of having two third-generation fenestration experts act as mentors, as well as working next to some of the most talented folks in the architectural manufacturing field, all helped impart an intense knowledge of glazing, installation, and fenestration processes.

This experience is where I can say my interest in CNC fabrication was generated. It required being open to fabricating novel ideas from design students with little to no experience around fabrication equipment.

During my time at Digifabshop I experienced first hand the involvement from conceptual ideas brought in by clients to the final shipment work for installation. Through this opportunity I gained experience in bringing conceptual drawings through to shop engineering drawings, working with tight and precise delivery schedules, finish coating with advanced woodworking equipment, exhibition design & fabrication, restaraunt and interior design & fabrication, fine art finishing & fabrication, and teamwork on projects requiring each member to carry the same skillsets to finish a job.
