2018: Launched sponsored job ads for companies hiring on AngelList. Led a series of efforts to increase the number of companies active and hiring on AngelList.2017: Designed and shipped a new job application UX for candidates. Launched a series of triggered emails that gave candidates more transparency on the status of their job applications and improved candidate retention.I made custom emojis on the side.

Conceived and prototyped several ideas, including Journey, an app that helps you build itineraries and plans for your next trip, and records memories from your past trips. Made in Javascript using React, NodeJS and MongoDB.Spent the summer consulting as a PM for brightwheel.

Vurb is a contextual search app that helps people find and discover things to do, such as places to eat, movies to watch, or nearby events. Vurb was acquired by Snap Inc in 2016 for $115M.As the first Product hire in a team of 6, I led the effort to evolve the app from a prototype to full-fledged releases on iOS and Android. I partnered with the CEO to set product vision and positioning, and interviewed every prospective candidate as the team grew to 17 people. I was also an occasional contributor to the backend and analytics tech stacks, and a frequent provider of puns.

I started and led the team that shipped the first version of Inkling on Android.

Causes.com provides easy to use tools for activists and volunteers to drive social change.Led an effort to redesign Causes from a Facebook App to a social network. Drove 5x increase in DAUs through various A/B tested optimizations. Revamped email infrastructure to support high-volume email campaigns.

Worked on Internet Explorer 8, 9, and 10. Helped improve IE's performance for hundreds of millions of users through a feature that disables unwanted extensions running in the background. Significantly improved IE's reliability via analysis, reporting and prioritization of top issues. Helped architect IE to be the first browser to be resistant to plugin and webpage unresponsiveness. Planned all instrumentation behind IE’s analytics system. Built a self-updating data dashboard that the IE team uses to access its data; this portal helped cultivate a data-driven culture across the entire Windows organization.

Working on the MSN Performance team, Designed, implemented and tested a visual animation enhancement for a tool used to analyze network traffic. Met with other internal teams to evangelize the tool and its enhancements. The tool is currently used by many product teams across Microsoft.
