A creative director with a background in integrated brand work whose storytelling and strategic insight has powered award-winning initiatives for clients big and small. Rey Martinez started his advertising career at FCB years ago and he’s over the moon to be back for a second tour of duty. In between FCB roles, he has spent time at several other agencies, amassing a body of work that includes traditional, digital, social, and integrated campaign work.Most recently, he served as a freelance Creative Director at McCann, where he helped launch the eBay Authenticity Guarantee and Certified Refurbished programs.Before that, Rey served as a CD at Atmosphere BBDO, leading award-winning initiatives for Visa, HP, Citi, Emirates, Franklin Templeton, and Doctors Without Borders.Previously, Rey spent 6 years at Digitas working on innovative platforms for American Express. Rey was also the driving force behind one of the most successful character-driven Facebook campaigns for T.G.I. Friday’s.During his first stint at FCB, Rey cut his teeth on integrated work for the US Postal Service, Metlife, Qwest, Gevalia, City Harvest and more. When he’s not concepting, writing, or pitching something, Rey likes to focus group work on his family.
