I've spent nearly 6 years building and leading online communities...with a bit of sparkle and magic. ✨ I love connecting—whether it's talking to strangers in the grocery store, introducing two community members around a specific why, or hosting a sweet event. 💐 I’m currently the Head of Community @ Groove, a work-from-home coworking community designed for entrepreneurs and creatives to harness the power of accountability and people to reach their goals. 🚀As Groove’s first full-time hire, I helped grow the community from 23 beta testers to 500+ paying members worldwide. Together, we get shit done and build meaningful relationships along the way.How'd I get here? 👀 Well, from 2016 to 2019, I was part of an in-person coworking space that transformed my life. When I moved away, I wondered: What could the digital version of this magic look like?Around the same time, I started working with best-selling author 📚 Seth Godin, designing and growing cohort-based courses and online events for 25k+ entrepreneurs and creatives under the Akimbo and altMBA umbrella. There, I learned how to design intentional online experiences that foster deep, meaningful relationships.So, in 2021, when I discovered what Groove’s founders were building, I was so excited—Groove combined my love for coworking and my expertise in online community building—so I jumped in to help bring it to life.What else? 👀✍️ I’ve written a newsletter every other week for 3+ years (150+ issues strong!) for 5k+ entrepreneurs and creatives, with a 57% open rate.📅 I’ve hosted a virtual Goal Planning Party for 30+ months, helping 1.5k+ people set monthly intentions.🎤 I’ve designed and hosted 500+ events, spoken on 50+ stages (virtual and in-person), and been featured on 40+ podcasts.
