About Diane Elabidi

Bred from both the IDEO approach and more traditional Human Factors (HF), I have setup and managed the HF programs at LeapFrog, Plantronics (now Poly) and created a center for excellence in HF at Google since June 2015. My career is focused on building teams who turn user insights into practical and strategic design opportunities. We have the most impact in the early stages of product development (foundational research, generative research, concept evaluation, design validation) as well as execution and pre-launch phases. We have a particular fascination for understanding people's motivations, patterns, workarounds, creative solutions. As an individual, I am keen on participating in projects that have a positive impact on people's quality of life in the areas of technology for good, medical advancement, education and children, safety for the elderly, inclusion and women.

Listed skills include User Experience, User Centered Design, Usability Testing, User Experience Design, and 21 others.
