In this internship, I had the opportunity to inspect different projects in Mankato, such as roundabout and road construction, ensuring that they go smoothly and solving problems in real-time. I also performed preliminary surveys with GPS and laser equipment and drew up the plotted points in AutoCAD. Another one of my responsibilities was to communicate with contractors and residents of Mankato to assure that their needs are being met.

In this role I had the opportunity to operate heavy equipment such as skid loaders and tractors, perform various landscaping and building tasks, and upkeep the area to keep it looking nice for visitors and customers.

For this job, I prepared food trays for nursing home residents while taking their specific dietary needs into consideration. I also performed general kitchen cleaning duties, such as washing dishes, sweeping, and mopping. Another role I had was to receive freight, organize it, and put it in its proper storage space.
