Dynamic educator who, in addition to teaching students using culturally-relevant teaching methods to improve opportunities/achievements, planned and taught district-wide salary credit courses to teachers, administrators, support staff, and supervisors impacting the classrooms of almost 200 teachers. Topics included holding courageous conversations about DEI that positively impact student learning, implementing critical literacy techniques , and developing cross-curricular lesson plans, units, and assessments to enrich student learning. *Developed and facilitated a teacher social justice group that trained approximately 120 members of the faculty and staff. *served on a district-wide Curriculum Leadership Advisory Team that was responsible for planning, reviewing, and approving curriculum for the 70+ communication arts teachers within the district. Also collaborated with middle school curriculum team to ensure multi-level curricular articulation and alignment .*served as administrator/lead teacher for 2 summer school sessions, serving over 400 students each session. Created the master schedule; interviewed, hired, and allocated staffing; coordinated with district personnel for budgeting, employee payroll and scheduling; conducted staff training and mentoring; worked with at-risk students for disciplinary concerns and created plans for their success; organized and conducted mandatory emergency drills and procedures; problem-solved disciplinary, staff, and facility issues as they occurred.*served in various leadership roles: served as a Key Communicator, a group of representatives who met with the superintendent and communicated the community's successes and concerns while receiving updates from district-level administrators to disseminate to my school community; led senior-level teachers as the professional learning community(PLC) leader; also trained and lead an interdisciplinary PLC leader.

Responsible for over 12,000 cases within my team's caseloads. Signed legal documents to enforce child support orders and collect money on behalf of custodial parents and the state of Missouri. *provided training and support for staff members. Led culturally-relevant professional development for experienced staff about changes in policy and law related to child support enforcement activities. Developed a training manual used to explain responsibilities to new staff members. Included information on dress code, professional conduct, job expectations, and office procedure. *Observed and evaluated team members on both a formative and summative basis; created, implemented, and monitored improvement plans for struggling team members; took necessary disciplinary actions against team members who violated departmental and office policy.*provided customer service assistance to team members in order to resolve issues for our clientele.
