Richard has 35 years of experience in specialized government and private sector security matters related to national and international security, airline security, port operational counter-criminal and anti-smuggling, supply chain security, and other interrelated specialties. Through the years, it became a natural extension for him to later progress into a subject matter expert consultant and trainer. He later gathered management and leadership experience providing him with a natural pathway to integrate related material into his consultant and training activities.Because of Richard’s passion to volunteer and undertake numerous tasks during his 25 year -Military -Police -Border Patrol Agent -Customs Officer - Federal Air Marshal career, he was also able to gather advanced knowledge in subjects related to security, investigations, intelligence crisis management, counter-terrorism, airport security, international training projects, and global supply chain security government partnership projects. After leaving his agency in 2012 to retire, he transitioned into private sector contractor assignments as an investigator, consultant, and trainer: - Sub-contracted US State Department EXBS Border Security International Trainer: WMD interdiction, border operations (rail, land, airline), and non-intrusive technology.- U.A.E. Throughout his career, Richard has factually instructed hundreds of courses that are inclusive of numerous assignments in the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and South America. Richard has also provided security and consulting services for high-profile international oil and pipeline corporations, mining companies, hospitals, power plant providers, transportation firms, manufacturing companies, airports, security companies, pharmaceutical plants, ports of entry, maritime vessel operations, and foreign federal, civil, military, and police entities.
