My Roles:Leading the design and implementation of strategic activities under Civic Engagement theme (Objective Three) of the project. Establishing and maintaining high level coordination and functional relationship with provincial and local level civil society organizations, and networks and ensuring integration of civic engagement framework in Policy Research and LG System Strengthening initiatives (other two specific objectives of the project). Preparing Scopes of Work (SoW) and Terms of References for planned interventions, assessments and evaluations. Customising and contextualising mechanisms of citizen state engagement, and tools of governance and accountability. Planning, organising and providing mentoring and coaching to the action learning grants/challenge funds recipients. Maintaining functional relationship with broader community of CBOs, CSOs and networks in relation to demand side of the local governance framework in line with citizen participation decision making and promoting accountability and transparency in governance processes.

Supported partner NGOs, Local governments & concerned stakeholders to mainstream and operationalized Multi Sector Nutrition Plan (MSNP), Local Disaster and Climate Resilience Planning (LDCRP) at district level planning and budgeting. Enhanced technical capacity of government health facilities’ staffs, SUAAHARA II’s front line workers and various citizen networks on health and nutrition governance, GESI mainstreaming, disaster preparedness, climate change resilience and budget advocacy. Provided technical support and coaching mentoring services to implement participatory governance tool i.e. Community Score Card, Community Health Score Board (CHSB), Self-Applied Techniques for improving own Health System (SATHS) at health facilities. Established strong institutional relationship with government line agencies and other USAID supported projects i.e. KISAN PAHAL, SABAL, H4L etc.

Lead CARE Nepal's women economic empowerment projects. Significantly contributed designing various projects for women economic empowerment, business development, advocacy campaign, financial inclusion and framework for sustainable livelihood. Strengthened women cooperative for easy financing mechanism to run micro business. Designed & delivered local context specific capacity enhancement training packages for marginalised women and adolescent girls. Established women's linkage with business development service providers and local government fostering pro-poor growth.

Engaged in governance capacity building need assessment, course curricula development and material/instruments design. Facilitated Social Accountability Schools (governance school) to incapacitate government official, CSOs practitioners and local media representatives in the themes of Public Financial Management (PFM) and monitoring of the Public Service Delivery (PSD) themes. Provided mentoring services for the SA tools & mechanisms practitioners of the Civil Society Organisations (CSOs).

Program planning and implementation for social and organisational development theme. Designed and delivered customised capacity building training courses by using participatory methods in the theme of institutional governance & accountability and other cross cutting themes. Carried out on demand research and studies for different development organisations.

Managed people and program of various consortium projects especially focused on value chain approach for sustainable economic development of smallholder producers.
