• Mr. Tom’s Alley, LLC is an online antiques, collectibles and coin retail business that I started in January of 2008.• After the initial legal setup and the coding of the website, it went live in April of 2008 at www.MrTomsAlley.com.• I am responsible for all aspects of this retail endeavor including; purchasing, sales, shipping, marketing, accounting, customer service, consignments, office management, product research, etc.• I have also taught myself to become proficient in the many areas of collecting that my business covers, such as; numismatics, world and US currency, militaria, Disneyana, paper ephemera, deltiology (postcard collecting), diecast vehicles, 1980’s collectibles, tobacciana and antique porcelain, to name a few.

• Accounting responsibilities included entry and payment of all office and client related expenses, payroll, billing, monthly and quarterly tax preparation, bank account reconciliation and maintenance of an Attorney Escrow account.• IT/Network Manager responsibilities included all aspects of Network Management, including design and implementation of a ground up office network and telephone system, as well as upkeep and maintenance of all computers and network hardware. Position: Accounts Payable Technician from September 1996 – June 1998. • Responsibilities included data entry of vendor invoices, vouchering and payment of invoices, as well as business communication with vendors and creditors. Also participated in special projects for ongoing Defense contracts.Position: Payroll Technician from June 1998 – July 2005.• Responsibilities included data entry of company timesheets, wire transfer and check processing for employee payroll, maintenance of all payroll-related records and reports as well as preparation and distribution of W-2’s, 1099’s, W-3’s and 1096 transmittals. I was also tasked with the accurate and prompt payment and reconciliation of 941 taxes, 940 taxes, Maryland, Michigan, Washington DC, Florida and Virginia State Unemployment and Withholding Taxes, as well as Maryland Sales TaxPosition: Controller for Triangle Parachute, a subsidiary of Advanced Technology & Research Corp. July 2002 – July 2005.• Responsiblities included all aspects of Accounting, as well as Human Resources and Management duties.

• Responsibilities here included supervision of six to nine person crew. Also responsible for shipping and receiving product, scheduling and tracking maintenance on 18 company owned vans, as well as hiring, training and administration of warehouse staff.
