Heavy Hearted Convos is a social enterprise that I founded and lead as the CEO, with a mission to help athletes prioritize their mental wellness. We offer online and in-person counseling, support, and resources to individuals and groups, using innovative and evidence-based coaching methods and tools.Since launching in March 2020, we have helped over 200 athletes improve their mental health outcomes, self-esteem, and life satisfaction. We have also partnered with several sports organizations, schools, and nonprofits to raise awareness and advocate for mental wellness in the athletic community.My passion for mental wellness stems from my own experience as an athlete and a student of sociology. I graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology in 2020, where I learned about the social and psychological factors that affect human behavior and well-being. I also attended the University of Rhode Island from 2016 to 2019, where I played basketball and faced several challenges and barriers that motivated me to pursue this career path.
