Provide analysis for the Fires and Air and Missile Defense (AMD) portfolios in the Force Management Directorate, Army Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations. Recommend research and analytical approaches to support force structure adjustments ensuring sufficient and affordable support to the Army, Joint force and nation concerning Field Artillery (FA) and AMD capabilities. Synchronize selected strategies across Department of the Army, securing resource support from Office of the Secretary of Defense. Select Accomplishments:• Instrumental in developing Army force requirements through Total Army Analyses for 2019-2023 and 2020-2024, resourcing solutions for the FA and AMD portfolios resulting in quantifying capabilities needed and articulating risks associated with not meeting those needs.• Incorporated new methodologies for applying AMD capabilities resulting in modeling results that validated the National Commission on the Future of the Army (NCFA) findings and recommendations for Army AMD shortfalls, reconciling previous discrepancies paralyzing forward movement, thus allowing the Army to proceed with growing units and divesting others based on changing priorities.

Provide analytic support to the Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Directorate, Army Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations. Research and analyze approaches, recommending portfolio adjustments that provided adequate coverage within budget to support the Army, Joint force and nation. Select Accomplishments:• Drafted the Army AMD strategy and execution plan, collaborating with stakeholders on plan implementation.• Guided and assessed studies supporting decisions to execute the AMD strategy. • Assisted with AMD capability portfolio review, Total Army Analysis AMD emerging growth analysis and the Deputy Secretary of Defense AMD study.• Provided analytic support for Army AMD in the Joint Staff-led Joint Capability Mix IV study, guiding shift to build a portfolio of analysis rather than an updated study each iteration. The study was accepted and funded, the follow up on Joint Regional Integrated AMD Capability Mix Study is underway.

Conduct aviation studies and operations research including recommending approaches, creating experiment designs and interpreting data to make actionable recommendations for the Program Executive Office Aviation. Serve as analysis and force management subject matter expert (SME) to the Army G-3/5/7 Aviation Organizational Integrator, the Army Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations (a 3-Star position), and the Program Executive Officer for Aviation (a 2-Star position). Select Accomplishments:• Contributed to Analysis of Alternatives Addendum study guidance and plan for additional analysis to inform Joint Cargo Aircraft acquisition decision.• Assisted with analysis of Aviation Study II and Aviation Portfolio review initiatives for the Army, study recommendation impacts and implementation strategy development. Served as SME to Aviation desk in the Army G-3/5/7 Force Management Directorate, formulating plans to adjust fixed wing and medical evacuation capabilities across the active Army, National Guard and Army Reserve ensuring all force structure decisions were recorded without error.• Ensured accurate portrayal of Army capabilities in the Joint Intra-Theater Distribution Analysis outlining cost savings benefits of emerging technologies in reducing dependency on manned aviation solutions.• Selected as primary analyst for the United States Army Utility and Cargo Helicopter Lift Analysis, reviewing Army requirements for the 2020 to 2030 timeframe anticipating future analytic and program needs to ensure long-term aviation system relevance.• Promoted to Sr. Operations Research Systems Analyst based on superior performance in Analyst role.
