I am a Director at CBIZ MHM, LLC and a Shareholder in the Audit Services Group of MHM. I have more than 15 years of public accounting experience. I have completed both financial and internal control audits in a variety of industries, including non-profit, manufacturing, distribution, and professional service firms, although my passion is in the non-profit industry.I am a leader in the San Diego Non-Profit Practice Group and have an expertise in the nonprofit industry, working strategically with my clients to strengthen internal controls and procedures. My experience also includes auditing in accordance with the Uniform Grant Guidance for nonprofit organizations, as well as commercial companies that received Federal funding that require program specific audits under government auditing standards.We are always looking to co-host monthly mission lunches (virtually for the immediate future), where we highlight California nonprofit organizations and offer opportunities for our staff to volunteer, donate or become involved at the Board level.I am a CPA in California and I hold a Bachelors of Science degree in Accountancy from San Diego State University.
