Hunter Herring is currently Records Analyst I in the Banking Supervision department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, where she collaborates with the Records Management team to receive, log, file, and retrieve Board-delegated records in a timely manner, regardless of their medium or format. She reviews, analyzes, and ensures compliance with record handling procedures and standards set by the Board of Governors, Office of the Secretary, and Reserve Bank Records Management. Additionally, she supports District and System level initiatives related to Records Management and participates in Records Management training to maintain subject matter competency. Formerly, as an Archives Technician and Museum Associate at the Interurban Railway Museum in Plano, Texas, Hunter became one of twelve nationwide recipients awarded the 2019 Lesley Van Der Lee Scholarship, where she was chosen to attend the 35th Annual Small Museum Conference in College Park, Maryland, and gifted a year-long membership to the Small Museum Association.Hunter has also received a number of academic accolades, including a spot on the Dean’s List for four successive semesters, and was featured as the Perot Museum of Nature and Science’s Employee of the Month in February of 2017. Hunter received her BA in Visual and Performing Arts with a concentration in Art History at the University of Texas at Dallas in December 2019. In the fall of 2020, she enrolled at the University of North Texas to pursue a Master of Science in Information Science with a concentration in Archival Studies and Imaging Technology, along with an Archival Management certificate. Her expected graduation date is Spring 2023.
