As Investor Relations Manager, I was responsible for thoughtful stewardship of donors and investors through the crafting of effective due diligence materials, performance reports and the development of internal structures and processes.

I interact daily with donors to set up food and fund drives throughout our service area, helping to procur a record number of food drive donations in November 2010: over 330,000 pounds. I am the team lead for the “Operation Bread Basket” food drive. This food drive requires coordinating staff and volunteers at 9 Sun Fresh stores. I also designed and implemented “Farm to Table”, establishing local farmers markets as donation sites for fresh produce and capturing any surplus goods from the vendors. In addition, I was the team lead for the design and construction of company parade float The float placed 1st in the Snake Saturday parade and won “Best of Show” as well as $7,000. I am also the team lead for “Project Strength” – a food drive and volunteer activity that has provides groceries to participants of our nutrition education class. Show less

I monitored and reported on pertinent committees. I also tracked bills, completed bill research, and assisted in the constituent service side of governmental affairs.

Along with volunteering, I also assisted with grant writing for the organization, advocated for organization with local government officials in regards to funding by Congress and assisted with coordinating organization fundraisers.

This job consisted of customer service tasks based around the assistance of K-State students, facility and staff with computer related issues. During this time I developed extensive knowledge in computer troubleshooting and usage.

I planned and facilitated, with a team of twenty-two, the college orientation and enrollment of 3,000 incoming freshman. This included creating interactive skits, extensive public speaking and guided tours of campus. I also led a ‘Tips for Success’ session for 40 - 55 students a day.
