- Created, designed, optimized and maintained primary trader interface for algorithmic trading, capable of concurrently interfacing with several hundred trades at one time- Developed primary trader display for profit-and-loss data, which is responsible for position and risk management at Blue Fire. The interface also communicates with exchange gateways to allow for position hedging and delta management.- Designed and developed market tick data recording utility, as well as front-end interfaces to allow for quick analysis and simulation based on historical data- Implemented drop copy (secondary fill report) connectivity to the majority of traded exchanges. Also developed an alerting interface that matched secondary executions to primary fills to capture any issues with either system- Designed and developed SNMP-based market data integrity checker, responsible for monitoring internal market data streams to ensure trade and exchange connection stability- Created price-ladder view for individual markets that allowed traders to see algorithm order and quote interaction- Responsible for configuration of hundreds of trades across various asset classes, using Blue Fire's primary trading algorithm. Also responsible for troubleshooting issues between the algorithm and various aspects of the trading infrastructure, including market data, database, exchange-facing gateways, and the trader interface.- Configured and set up connectivity to a majority of the Blue Fire traded exchanges. Designed the original Blue Fire exchange setup process including checks for market data, drop copy viability, primary connectivity, and certification. Interfaced with trade logic, market data, and exchange gateway teams to resolve critical internal and external issues. - As head of trade support, was responsible for planning and execution of emergency response procedure to any critical internal issue (examples would include exchange outages or loss of primary market data feeds)
