During my time with DPG, I worked as part of a Project Team on a variety of projects that include active participation in ideation workshops, concept package production, planting proposals for research and drawing production. Some of the projects include Mixed Development Chongbang Shanghai 18, China, Forest Zoological Themed Parks at Mandai, Singapore and Punggol Integrated Town Hub, Singapore.

During the internship, I was attached to the Landscape Design Office under HDB’s Building & Research Institute. I assisted in the construction tender preparation for Tampines Contract (C) 19, design tasks for Bidadari C10-C12 and conducted research related to Spontaneous Vegetation.

During my time in Cicada, I took up multiple roles and responsibilities involving preparation of presentation materials during the concept stage, preparation of drawings and specifications for tender administration and proactive coordination with consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure smooth progression of project.

I am honoured and grateful to have received this scholarship from the company as this could be a start of a new journey for me. Being able to learn and further improve on my aspect of studies, I am glad to be given this opportunity.
